On 9 that could be a DLC but right now there is a DLC coming with neighbor bears but I've not looked into it, only seen mention of it here so not sure the new bears will be on other islands or visitors or what but at least some new content is coming via DLC
Edit: Okay this made me curious and I looked into it. It doesn't say here if they will be neighboring islands or neighbors that move onto the island but it does say the DLC will include more closet space, so that's another one off you list, at least partly, it's probably still not limitless.

I know, I have a Grog Mug and posters that will be in my inventory forever. But I'm not sure that actually helps. Before the game automatically took all the quest items from your inventory. Now you need to manually select them. At the end of the day, for unique quest items, the result is the same: you hand in x number of quest items or you don't complete the quest.
I do like the option for resource quests as before it arbitrarily took from the "newest" stack. Now I can direct the quest to collect from whatever stack I want, which may not be tagged as the newest, but is still an incomplete stack.
Hmmm. Interesting. I hope we get more rooms too... I'm trying to fuse my room decorations. I have the entrance room (Witch/Gothic), a Lab/Study (Witch/Adventure), a Kitchen/Dinning room (Cozy/Witch), Bedroom (Witch/Gothic), and Bathroom (Cozy). I'm trying to see if I can add the Bamboo decorations... outside the tent I'm using Rustic.
I suspect it might, if not then possibly a later general update. Myself and some others have occasionally had a glitch where when we walk into one of our last rooms we see empty door spaces for a moment that vanish to walls. This leads me to believe they intend to add more rooms since more doors are in the code. But I could wrong.
Also, I'm doing similar. My entrance is witchy and kitchen is cozy. I'm going slow though. The others aren't as fleshed out. I have a study/bedroom and a dressing/bathroom and the middle room is kinda a living room but that's the least done. It's just got a couch and some chairs so far.
I'm not playing much lately since I finished the story. I'm looking forward to the DLC to give me more reason to play.
Most of your suggestions make perfect sense.
My TOP 2 :
- Bigger stacksize (amount of 1 item in inventory)
- More inventory space (amount of items in backpack, inventory or clothing space)
Other things :
- Remove the STUPID fishing mechanics, make it one action like with the delicious time saving cheat engine scripts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Recycle all flowers WITH ONE BUTTON CLICK
These 4 things alone would save me 2 hours a week of running around like a chicken without a head.
In most cases an increased stack size (i.e. 999 for every item) would resolve many of the inventory issues. Obviously fish and flowers still clog up spots as there are so many different varieties, but at my stage of the game I rarely bother harvesting flowers except when I need Flower Pigment.
I don't really have issues with fish, per say. I would say it would be better is fishing was more fun (i.e line tension, bait) and there was a way to identify either fish or fish rarity, as the only two reasons I fish are for fish bones and to complete collections. But I rarely have the time to fish the dozens of times necessary to complete a season's collection, let alone catch the mythics.
One fix I would like to see is preventing the "de-select all" issue that happens if you click-slide your mouse, as it de-selects every selected item. That's an issue when you've been clicking stacks of flower blossoms... only to have all your work undone by accident.
Also, I miss the option they had ages ago, where if you clicked outside the area of your inventory it auto-closed the windows. Now you need to click the red X button. I miss that option.
My problem exactly, I have an hour during the week and I don't fish then. Mechanics make it time consuming and like you say you don't see if it's a rare fish swimming there so you catch mainly garbage.
I am so glad you have that too, I thought it was my mouse doing wonky stuff. This is why I want a button to sell all flowers at once.
It sometimes gets so bad I can click on 2-3 items and it de-selects .... then I just want to rage-quit.
Ah, Fruit Tincture. I suggested nerfing the value, as these days I buy fruit trees, harvest them, and process until I sell them all netting ~1.4 million coins. I have around 47 million coins and the only reason I keep harvesting is to pay for the Wishing Well. I need all the mythic recipes...
If this is a game in which decoration is so important, access to decoration should be a lot easier. I'm reaching day 200 and I still get new decoration (disregarding rarity) almost every day.
