Suggestions: 300+ Day Player
So I've played Cozy Grove for a while now, and while a few of the suggestions I've had over the months have appeared in the game, there are a few that I would like to recap in this thread in case the DEVs are looking...

1) Quest Return - When you complete a quest, and its icon turns green, by clicking on the quest your scout should automatically walk/run back to the spirit bear that gave you the now completed quest and trigger the reward interaction.

2) Selecting Unique Quest Items - If you are handing over "unique" quest items, like the colored leaves, trash, parcels, ect, they should be automatically handed over. It strikes me as needlessly tedious to select them individually. There are no circumstances where you wouldn't hand over all the unique items you collected for the active quest.

3) Remove Clothes - In the Closet inventory add a button to remove all currently equipped clothes. This skips the process to manually remove any worn clothing items.

4) Limitless Closet Space - There are no +4 Shirts of Invincibility, this isn't an RPG, and all clothing is 100% cosmetic. So why is there a limit on how much you can keep in your Closet? The only time I need to change my clothes is for Darla O'Hare's weekly quest. I would like having limitless space in the Closet so I don't need to sell older clothes to add space for newer/rarer clothes. And yes, I have all the Closet space upgrades.

5) Rarity Shouldn't be a Color - Honestly, I would have loved unique artwork for each rarity of a decoration, rather than the current color-based rarity system. One reason is that I feel certain colors suit certain decorations better. The fact that all my highest tier rooms/areas will be filled with golden-yellow Mythic decorations doesn't make it look perfect. It would have preferred a variety of colors. My suggestion, create a paintbrush item to allow players to re-color items with paint made from flowers. That way you retain rarity, but allow players to color decorations however they prefer.

6) 999 - Just set all item stacks to a maximum of 999. Eggs? 999. Hard wood? 999. That way we have fewer stacks and always know how many items fit in each stack.

7) Tool Space - Rather than taking up space in your backpack, why not create a special slot for tools where they are added when crafted and never interacted with except when they break? The exceptions could be the diving rod, camera, fishing rod, and accordion, which need to be "in hand" to activate their special function.

8) No Space for Purchase - Try buying a spirit animal from Lee Berry Dennings when your inventory is full. He won't sell it to you. Humorously, he never actually gives toy the spirit animal even if you have space, as he mails the purchase to you. So you never needed the free inventory space. Valentina Oso-Fisher probably behaves the same way too with purchases from her personal store. I view this as more of a bug...

9) Visit Other Islands - Yes... I know another game allows you to take a boat ride the nearby islands, but Cozy Grove should allow it too. Obviously this could be a "post-win" unlock (for obvious reasons). What could be on the other islands? Resources at least, maybe other random things to add to the game.

I think 2 was added because there were glitches where people kept unique items after completing quests when it used to be auto taken and were stuck with them in inventory forever taking up space. It's happened to me. Selecting them ensures they are removed.

On 9 that could be a DLC but right now there is a DLC coming with neighbor bears but I've not looked into it, only seen mention of it here so not sure the new bears will be on other islands or visitors or what but at least some new content is coming via DLC

Edit: Okay this made me curious and I looked into it. It doesn't say here if they will be neighboring islands or neighbors that move onto the island but it does say the DLC will include more closet space, so that's another one off you list, at least partly, it's probably still not limitless.

I know, I have a Grog Mug and posters that will be in my inventory forever. But I'm not sure that actually helps. Before the game automatically took all the quest items from your inventory. Now you need to manually select them. At the end of the day, for unique quest items, the result is the same: you hand in x number of quest items or you don't complete the quest.

I do like the option for resource quests as before it arbitrarily took from the "newest" stack. Now I can direct the quest to collect from whatever stack I want, which may not be tagged as the newest, but is still an incomplete stack.

Hmmm. Interesting. I hope we get more rooms too... I'm trying to fuse my room decorations. I have the entrance room (Witch/Gothic), a Lab/Study (Witch/Adventure), a Kitchen/Dinning room (Cozy/Witch), Bedroom (Witch/Gothic), and Bathroom (Cozy). I'm trying to see if I can add the Bamboo decorations... outside the tent I'm using Rustic.

I suspect it might, if not then possibly a later general update. Myself and some others have occasionally had a glitch where when we walk into one of our last rooms we see empty door spaces for a moment that vanish to walls. This leads me to believe they intend to add more rooms since more doors are in the code. But I could wrong.

Also, I'm doing similar. My entrance is witchy and kitchen is cozy. I'm going slow though. The others aren't as fleshed out. I have a study/bedroom and a dressing/bathroom and the middle room is kinda a living room but that's the least done. It's just got a couch and some chairs so far.

I'm not playing much lately since I finished the story. I'm looking forward to the DLC to give me more reason to play.

I am in day 255 and consider myself a seasoned player who plays every single day for more than an hour.
Most of your suggestions make perfect sense.

My TOP 2 :

- Bigger stacksize (amount of 1 item in inventory)
- More inventory space (amount of items in backpack, inventory or clothing space)

Other things :

- Remove the STUPID fishing mechanics, make it one action like with the delicious time saving cheat engine scripts !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Recycle all flowers WITH ONE BUTTON CLICK

These 4 things alone would save me 2 hours a week of running around like a chicken without a head.

In most cases an increased stack size (i.e. 999 for every item) would resolve many of the inventory issues. Obviously fish and flowers still clog up spots as there are so many different varieties, but at my stage of the game I rarely bother harvesting flowers except when I need Flower Pigment.

I don't really have issues with fish, per say. I would say it would be better is fishing was more fun (i.e line tension, bait) and there was a way to identify either fish or fish rarity, as the only two reasons I fish are for fish bones and to complete collections. But I rarely have the time to fish the dozens of times necessary to complete a season's collection, let alone catch the mythics.

One fix I would like to see is preventing the "de-select all" issue that happens if you click-slide your mouse, as it de-selects every selected item. That's an issue when you've been clicking stacks of flower blossoms... only to have all your work undone by accident.

Also, I miss the option they had ages ago, where if you clicked outside the area of your inventory it auto-closed the windows. Now you need to click the red X button. I miss that option.

Yeah, don't need pigment either, but I harvest all of my trees and flowers at once every 4 days when they are all in bloom. Plus : fruit makes something very valuable at the end of production.

My problem exactly, I have an hour during the week and I don't fish then. Mechanics make it time consuming and like you say you don't see if it's a rare fish swimming there so you catch mainly garbage.

I am so glad you have that too, I thought it was my mouse doing wonky stuff. This is why I want a button to sell all flowers at once.
It sometimes gets so bad I can click on 2-3 items and it de-selects .... then I just want to rage-quit.

Ah, Fruit Tincture. I suggested nerfing the value, as these days I buy fruit trees, harvest them, and process until I sell them all netting ~1.4 million coins. I have around 47 million coins and the only reason I keep harvesting is to pay for the Wishing Well. I need all the mythic recipes...

I also have a suggestion: make it possible to select different recipes to cook in one go, because it is so effing tedious to talk up Allison for every single item anew. If I have the ingredients for everything, why does it matter that I shan't be able to cook one of every salad at once?

I'd like a better stack splitting system. "splitting" separating them out of the current stack one by one into separate piles sucks. Like if I want to save 50 out of a 300 stack and sell the rest that becomes tedious real fast. Maybe we could specify an amount to move to a new pile or split could actually split in half. I'd be faster to get to the stack amount you want actually splitting than one by one.

I wish there was no daily cap on the wishing well... It makes no sense, quickly in the game money becomes something you just can't spend, and the wishing well would be the perfect way to make you keep working on your island to get more money. I stopped harvesting fruits/flowers/animals (except cats) at this point, since it's some extra work and my money and resources just don't go down at all just by selling critters and low-rarity decoration I get from quests.
If this is a game in which decoration is so important, access to decoration should be a lot easier. I'm reaching day 200 and I still get new decoration (disregarding rarity) almost every day.

All I want... is to be able to split stacks. I don't want to sell all 999 of my quarts... only 500 or so. (Yes, I go on to press F 500 times)
