Three ores around the camping site have disappeared

There are still three left, but the missing three have not appeared anywhere else.

Will it appear somewhere on the map at 5AM tomorrow?

This game is often embarrassed by lack of explanation.

They seem to move after a while. Some disappeared on my island too but found new ones scattered around.

After like 30 days my oldest basic ores shifted places. Found 2 of them in new locations, but one is missing, unfortunately. World size is so big that it is hard to locate such a small object.

This happened to me for the first time too but they came back the next day.

I don't know if this this is random from a player to another one but there is one at the extreme north near the second building area. I got four below the main building area and another one a bit above.

Alas, positions indeed vary from player to player..

Devs confirmed in another thread that rocks move after 30 days.

Today (day 32 iirc), 2 of my common ore nodes moved (the 3rd stayed in place), but none of the 2+1 rare ones.
Found one back, still searching for the last one ^^

You know what, this is not fun. Getting used to the location of something just for it to suddenly disappear amid a clusterf*ck of other things is very frustrating. If ore disappeared every other few days it wouldn't be as bad, but going to one place for a whole month and then having it changed randomly to anywhere in that gigantic island really bothers me.

After the ores moved, I'm also missing one of my original 3, which leaves me with 5 total. Down 1 from my previous 6.

Yeah, I some days I can't even find all of them. Sucks losing effieciency solely because something moved randomly.

the dev team are moving lots of things. Trees ore, even the island layout so if you plant resources to boost or mark things, you will need to go find and collect them all, in all the damned clutter you cannot see through. Animal and tree preferences are changing constantly too so you waste a LOT of time trying to move things around. I just gave up and leave lots of things in inventory now. I cant waste an extremely boring hour trying to re plan and map the damned island. Even Elvenar made more sense than this.
