Not receiving any bakery items

I'm not so sure if this is a bug or maybe just something I'm not aware of, but I'll get to the point. I've ordered MULTIPLE (at least 8-10) dishes from the baker bear, and NONE of them have arrived in the mail if i quit the game before the hour is up. It used to be I could log in and they would be there the next day, but these past few times I never received the order. Is it a timed thing now where the food can go bad in the mail? Or is something up?

Edit: just a note that I am still receiving animal orders from the farmer and furniture from the mayor. just not food for some reason?

I know this post is over a month old but I came on here to see if anybody was having the same issue as I am. I'm curious if they even know this is happening. This is semi-serious if I can't EVER get any bakery items and they're needed down the line for specific quests and whatnot. Disappointing. =(

I have not noticed similar reports of this issue. The only thing I can think of is perhaps you time-travelled forward and then later time-travelled backwards, which we've put safeguards in the game to discourage but some people still end up doing it, and it can corrupt the game in various ways. If that's not something you did, I unfortunately have no better ideas for you as we've never reproduced this issue.

I'm on day 81 (beta branch), haven't used time-travelling at all and I'm no longer receiving food items from the postal bear as of today. The very 1st group of items goes thru then nothing.
Edit: I ordered some items, saved and loaded the game and they were at the postman. The items ordered before are just gone.

So, a friend of mine has the same issue, no time-travelling used. whenever she tries to bake food, it never goes to the mailbox. Can't progress on the quest because of that

I know this post is old, but I was very excited to play this game. I’ve been playing it for 7 days on Switch, and unfortunately it’s just unplayable. I have not time traveled (I’m not that invested), and I am playing with the physical release, so no SD cards. The lag time is horrendous, the game crashes, I’ve crafted multiple items and the game takes my components like eggs, salt, and “crafts” the item, but the crafted item never shows up. I get the cute dialogue of the bear handing it to me, but it isn’t in my inventory or in the mail or around the island. All in all, I really wanted to like this game and probably would’ve powered through until I started looking for answers to glitches and found Cheddar cheese, over here, gaslighting everyone. The game runs like ♥♥♥♥ on switch. If you can’t “reproduce” that, then you aren’t trying.
