Some charm but some things really need work..
I play on the switch, maybe it’s different on PC, but man are some things janky in this game..

The controls really make me mad because at best you’ll fumble on the object you want to press and at worse it just won’t work. Neither touch or controller. Too many objects? One is just never gonna be pressed on no matter how many times you press “select next”. Even if you pick up everything else. Just broken.

There’s no backs to anything. At all. Decor can only face in 2 directions. By mirroring. For a game mostly about decorating, this is not great.

The fishing is really easy now. Dumb easy. Idk why people were complaining. Most fish latch on as long as the bopper is near them. And they don’t “nibble” (quick light vibration), they just bite (longer or harder vibration) so all’s you gotta do is press the button when you feel the vibration.

Oh and there’s only 3 music tracks total. No hourly music. Just the same 3 repeating 2 min tracks. Joy. I mean they’re not bad but it gets extremely repetitive.

And so far I don’t think there are any holidays or events.

Everyone compares this to animal crossing. This game is actually more like “Where’s Waldo?” with a sprinkle of don’t starve. The only “animal crossing” type thing is being real time. But you might as well compare your game to farm ville. But that isn’t trending, is it?

Idk. Maybe they’ll love this game and update away all these problems. But as of now I’m kinda PO’d the game is so unfinished in areas I can’t even enjoy it..

The next update on Switch (currently moving through Nintendo certification) should have some improvements for object selection.

We'll be working on more songs and further updates. There have been 5 updates since launch and more are on their way and we are planning on actively supporting this game for a long while. Appreciate the feedback!

anytime. i don't mean to sound all doom and gloom. this game has a lot of potential, with love i can see it being a huge sleeper hit. and i do have faith in you guys cause like you said, you've been working on fixes since it came out.

but yeah, little things that would make a difference is the vibration on the fishing (not that big a deal but as is makes it too easy) and maybe a slider to adjust how transparent things become when you're in front of them? not a huge thing but sometimes you can barely see them.

after that the music and backs for decor would help. and maybe a "house" or cabin you can decorate the inside of.

also.. as minor as it seems, sitting in chairs would be nice, but that would be last.

idk if you have a better spot or website for suggestions, can always add better weather and holidays, bugs to catch, a farm plot for growing other types of veggies. the list goes on. there's a lot you could do with a game like this.

one thing i rarely do gotta congratulate is the writing and child's story book aesthetic. the writing is great. makes the game very bitter-sweet, learning to deal with the grief of what is perceived as an unfulfilled life, usually inflicted by one's self. deep stuff for a game about camping ghost bears that looks like whinny the poo.

best wishes. hope you guys stick to this like a passion project and i'm sure it will get the credit it deserves.

Also, and this is a major thorn in my side; if you select a tree/bush/whatever that can be harvested with ''A'', and need to boost the ''leaves'' and throw down some in-area lamps or fence posts or whatev to get maximum harvest, having the inventory key ''Y'' and the auto-harvest the same (''Y'') is a massive burn, especially when you have to wait days for re-growth; I've accidentally gotten minimum collection so many times and it makes me want to throttle whomever thought this was a good design. Seriously. Change that please. It's not an issue on PC. Not sure if it's just me, but I really don't remember to step away from the harvestable thing before opening my inventory half the time, and even when I do, it's a bloody annoyance. After buying the game twice at full price, I'm wondering if it was worth it. Four games going, two on PC and two on the Switch, because I don't like anyone dictating how much I can play in a day, and so far both my PC saves have corrupted (day 28---do I want to start over? NO.) and my Lite seems like it may self-implode and melt from the battery and resource drain. Even my high-end Alienware gaming laptop can't handle the heat of this game! I almost wonder if that is what happened to ruin my saves today. Something is not right, with either of them. Total resource hogs. :-/

I thought it was a cute idea at the very start, hence the dual-purchase. But I've bought Terraria for five different platforms and played over 10,000 hours between them....never a single issue. I've only got a couple hundred between them for CG. And I'm having major issues already.
