Joyous Imp to Happy Imp Essence

Can it please be possible to turn Joyous Imp Essences into Happy Imp Essences? I am only getting Joyous Imp Essences from the imps, and I need happy ones for literally everything right now. I can't do a quest because I don't have any, all the recipes, all the plants from Kit...but I have 21 joyous imp essence just sitting there that can't be broken down like the other essences can.

same here lovvey I read on Discord that this is a normal. Only Animal essence can be recycled. :-\

Allison Fisher will let you bake one Happy Imp from 25 Spirit Imp essences - guess that's one "recycling" option.

The most recent I've read, one of the devs/advocate said they would find out more. I will check on discord later today and see what I can find.

Yes this. If you give one to the captain that collects, you'll get the recipe for the happy imp essence. It works like that for all three normal imp drops.
