About the new drilling mechanic with the elevator
Hey, so I watched your video about 1.0, and while I find splitting everything up into levels kind of questionable for exploration, it does seem reasonable for performance reasons. But it looks like you drill up to the other levels Super Duper fast? I mean, I know there were 4 devs who obviously know the game inside out doing it, but even so, it seems fast. So I was wondering if you guys are planning to add (or if you've already added) a game option to make the distance between levels (and thus drill bits needed) greater? And/or require the higher level drill bits instead of being allowed to use the lower tier ones as you progress levels. I would appreciate it if you could consider adding these options if you haven't considered it already.

Have no fear, there are plenty of challenges to conquer in Techtonica! While the first few tiers are relatively quick (if you're familiar with the factory automation genre, at least), we've tuned the elevator requirements to ramp up in what we feel is a fun and rewarding way as your progress through the levels. If what you're looking for is a tricky logistics problem, the mid-to-late game should scratch that itch.

Ok, I'll see when it releases.

I would suggest going to advanced game settings and set crafting cost at least 3x. Makes it alot harder to manufacture higher tier items. I think the default costs are quite cheap considering the big ore veins have literally billions of ore.
