Nexus Power issue

Hello, want to start off stating this is a really cool game, very interesting concept and able to rework the environment to your desires! Looking forward to all updates!!
I do have one question, the Nexus units do not seem to consistently connect to power. I have 3.9 GW and a Power Accumulator fully charged right next to a Nexus unit, and it states "Not enough charge", 0mj". I have both a power floor and HV wires feeding this area. But, if I exit and reload the game, sometimes it connects and I lose others. Is this seen by other players?

Heya! I am definitely sorry to hear that you are encountering this, but you are not the only one! We have had some issues with Nexuses properly recognizing energy sources. They are not playing as nicely as they should with Voltage Steppers and Accumulators.

Is your flooring directly connected to an energy producing machine, like a Crank Generator? If it isn't and it won't compromise your factory build, you could try that! Otherwise, I do not have a suggestion that could immediately fix it, but we'll hopefully get something in soon!

The easiest way to prevent the current bug is separating a nexus from any other power grid (that uses steppers).
Place another platform next to the nexus and use it for a generator+Accumulator.

OK, thank you for the responses and ideas! I'll give them a try. I'm sure the DEV's will work on it in time, looking forward to an all the coming updates to the game in the future!

Yes, putting NEXUS units on their own small power grid, with Accumulator + Crank Generator + power floor does work. Thank you!

This happens quite often to me too - I'm not sure, but I think it happens when you use any charge from the power network, like in research or station upgrades. This seems to drain the (built) nexuses irrepairably (until game reload).
