How do i get more hotbars?

The first two you start with are full and I need more. It's a pain to keep having to remove hotbar items to make room. Why you can't just equip an item out of the inventory is beyond me.

You have to Unlock them 1st by finding their HDD and scanning it. The 1st one is easy to find as it's next to PT Lima
Then you have get to PT XRAY and repair it once, then tech into it with Purple Cores
That will give you 2 more bars... You will have to the other HDDs (IIRC you really can't miss these as the signals with lead you to them.
To switch once unlocked
CTRL+Number or Mouse Scroll Wheel for the Number Key Row (Bottom)
Shift+Number/Scroll for the Function Key Row (TOP)

Further tiers of xray unlock up to a total of 10 toolbars. 2 of them are visible at the same time
