Why was the core composer removed?

I'm revisiting this game because of all of its recent updates and am sad to see they removed the core composer. I found them fun for stacking up all my research cores.

Any plans to introduce something to replace it with for the purposes of research core organization?

Last time I played it was still in the game. Now I'm gonna have to hop on and check. Because stacking them manually is a pain. Update, The core composer is still in the game. Have you unlocked it in the tech tree?? I am still able to build them and use them.

I'd say the worst part of it is that they removed them without announcing it or stating anything about it or getting player feedback. It's a big devolvement of the game.

And they're still mentioned in dialog/tutorials. So they just yanked them out of the game messily.

I was really excited about the new patches/updates and had no idea they were doing stuff like this. They've lost me as a fan completely.

It's still there man. Just have to have unlocked in tech tree. I double checked my game.

I'd have to go back in game and check which tier it is. But it's still there man.

Sorry, you're playing an older version of the game. Update your game and you'll see that it's gone. In fact when you go into the science tree of the tech tree, there are literally only two learnable things in the LIMA tier: mass collect and mass deconstruct.

My game is up to date. Lol. Steam dosent let you play unless your up to date. I'm playing version 0.2.1c

This will show you the state that it was in before removal.

If someone has fully upgraded LIMA and a lot of VICTOR and the core composer is not craftable nor has it appeared in the Science tech tree, then it has been removed from the game.

I would appreciate a dev weighing in on this.

To be clear, I have about 100 hours in this game back in version .11 or whatever. I've done all the story and automation and built huge factories. I'm not some newb. Core composer has been removed and I am extremely sad about it. Because it was a nice feature.

Wig Bang 1st Chill out.
2nd it wasn't removed, just the free one isn't in the Chest at Victor now.
You can get 2 free Core Composers, by scanning them once you find them.
One is Located by the Water Wheels, and the other is near the new X-ray terminal down a hole.

Also It is under Construction Tech Tree in the 2nd tier of Victor.
The devs streamlined the begging of the game, but it has a different by better flow, but things have been move (not a lot of thing just a few things)

Get use the game changing like this, remember this is an Early Access game, and the Devs have Said the Patches are going to break saves, in the future.

A. yes I have old saves with core composers still in them. Not in the current version though

B. core clustering is completely unrelated to core composing. it's an endgame tier mechanic. core composing is different.

You guys are confusing core composing with core clustering which are two completely different features.
