Mole tunnel mode rotation?

When getting the tunnelling mode I've seen that you can adjust the mode on the mole using 'Z'. However, is there a way to change the rotation of the bit size? For example, 5x9 currently mine 9 blocks up but I'd rather that be the length in x axis, like digging longer tunnels instead of higher but just as short as without the mode?

For long tunnels mining charges are better, right now MOLE tech does not support rotations
