Freight Elevator not accepting items

OK, so I have all the required items to final unlock the freight elevator, but it will not let me load them in!

Do I need to be a specific tech level,i.e, I am at Victor level 6 and X-ray level 4 or is this some sort of bug?

Haven't gotten back to freight elevator in my new save yet, so memory is fuzzy, but I believe you can container->filter them in rather than ctrl+click from inventory. Sorry if this is outdated and not working.

Above is correct. Use a container and inserters.

you need to use a storage container and inserters to get stuff into freight elevator.

Farmer is accurate. You need to feed the items into the base of the terminal. You can't do what you did at PTX, PTV, and PTL
