How does core cluster = faster smelt speed tech work?

It is 10 purple = a core cluster and 5 blue = core cluster yes?

Does it have maximum speed cap or can you make smelters work insanely fast if you have thousands of core clusters?

Do you only get a core cluster if they are placed via core composer?

if you have certain amount of free cores not used, they will be counted towards cluster points, for purple each 10 free cores is 1 cluster point and for blue is 5 blue is cluster point, and bonus is calculated based on amount of clusters

1 free blue is 1 cluster? So if I make like 2,000 extra blue then I can get major smelt speed boost? No limit?

Sorry, my mistake, 10 purple and 5 blue, but yes, having extra cores gives boost, no limit(yet)

I am glad to see this information as my group spent hours last night trying to figure this out. The research for Core Clustering says that you need to create and allocate clusters and that you unlock a Core Allocator, so we were trying to figure out how to do all of this and make the allocator.

I think clearing this up in the description of the Core Clustering ability would be a good idea.
