Performance issues
So I am using a gaming laptop Omen 16 to be precise, and so many games work fine with regards to heat, they stabilize at around 60C for both GPU and CPU. However this game averages around 85C and I am playing at low. Any tips on how to further reduce the heat?

I have the same problem as above (also using polish language). Game starts with stable 60fps, then after about 20-30 minutes drops to 30fps and later even to 11-12 fps.
i9/32GB RAM/RTX4070Ti at 2560x1440x60hz.
Player.log contains a lot of entries like this:

Playing the Gamepass build over here on an i5-9400 and 1660Ti with 16gb ram and installed on an nvme, in English.

Game starts out well, runs a solid 60fps, then slowly develops what looks like input lag (specifcally, my mouse starts behaving like it's disconnecting randomly) over the course of about an hour. Then the framerate trends downwards at a rapid pace for the next hour before the game finally starts to slideshow and becomes completely unplayable.

Something I did notice is that the performance noticeably worsens when the game autosaves and doesn't fully recover after, so with each performed autosave it seems to perform a little worse overall.

Player.log is full of errors like

I don't use Polish characters in Steam name nor Windows username.

Nope.
When i restart the game everything works fine but again after some time the lag comes back.

Change language to english as a temporary workaround, seems to be running buttery smooth now. Also my player.log after few minutes of play is 54kB not 2MB.

Do you notice anything in particular that is associated with the drop in performance? Does it happen when you're in proximity to any particular machines, or looking at any particular items in the world?

worth noticing: resolution scaling (last slider in the Graphics menu) has 0 impact on performance, 50% - 100% still same 40% gpu usage, game barely touches CPU but GPU... OOF, either its 3080 to start with or change the engine :D

For me personally, resolution scaling seems to improve performance quite a bit. I use a 3070 Ti, and run it on 4K, which had micro-tearing, but resolution scaling fixed it.

I do hope, though, that they will implement some proper upscaling technology, be it DLSS or the AMD/Intel version. I think it should be considered a basic feature these days.
I have an FPS-Drop, too.
As other ppl already said, i have samie issue, it begins smooth with 60 fps and then it drops down to 10-20 max.
its nearly unplayable inside a constructionarea.

Haven't noticed frame drops here - but I do notice my 3060 spends a lot of time at max fanspeed - most games (satisfactory, etc) don't keep it spun up to that level. I'm locked at 60fps, so it really shouldn't be working that hard. Hopefully some optimization can be done.

That said, it's still quite playable. Enjoying the game so far. GJ devs!

One of the things I have noticed when it comes to the slowdowns I have experienced is that audio stuttering/sample cut popping is the first symptom, then the frame rate starts degrading.

This only happens to me when I am in the vicinity of a large number of active machines and conveyors. It sounds like the audio engine is hitting a hard limit on the number of simultaneous audio samples in flight, lots of sample cutoff pops/ticks.

If I keep playing then eventually what few sounds do come through are heavily delayed,

Continuing to play to see what eventually breaks completely and I get one ~10 second full stall followed within a few minutes by a complete app hang.

Turning down the machine sounds to zero and completely re-launching the game seems to prevent it, though I may simply not have run into it again yet. As long as that continues to hold true and isn't just a run of good luck it would hint that one of the big performance gremlins is the audio engine running out of voices and taking a vacation to Narnia instead of cleanly culling by sample age.

Ugh The LAG is bad
Tray to deactivate "bloom" in the grafic setting, for me its running fine now
