Bug with black hole miner? Or working as it should be?

I noticed you can not control where the miner goes special going down is that a bug? If not it would be nice if there where some info on how to drill down?

We are working on adding drilling down! As far as controller where the MOLE goes - you should just be able to point it where you want it?

for some reason it seems to want to go up? I'm still working out the why, my current thinking is the miner follows the terrian so if it goes up and you are not paying attection so dose your hole/tunnel etc will go up. Although if i point it straight down the miner wants to go up shrug maybe im just not paying attection not sure?

Yeah I think you just had to be intentional every time you mine a new spot. I will pass along this feedback, though!

I have discovered there is no Bedrock/Base floor (at least where i tried) Just an open bottom to the void.

the black hole will orient itself to a nearby drillable surface - often toward the ceilling - as a workaround use your pick ,make a tiny hole - step in it and you should be able to target the ground floor

I had an issue with using the "flatten" mode that has left patches of cracked terrain decal that never goes away on my map. Even when I reload the ground there still has the cracked decals.

thanks although your talking about a time sink lol pick step down use drill pick step down use drill go instance lol Also yes i noticed the drill wants to go up all the time for some reason

Explosives dig out a 3x3x8 hole. place down a floor block and place the explosive on any side you want to go. Pick up the block and repeat.

You really don't need a floor block but i does help keeping things in an OCD line.
