Wow I cant believe Airship Syndicate, Digital Sun, Double Stallion and Tequila Works had the GALL to build on their experiences with their previous titles, smh REAL game devs just make everything entirely from scratch every time

You must be one of those that call themselves "hardcore gamers" and grew up playing the "new" CoD every year.

This game was copied from Wizard of Legend, like it or not. This has nothing to do with your opinion of "genres".

I don't want to sound like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ here, but games can be similar to other games without being copies. Honestly, it plays way more like Hades that Wizard of Legend, but I wouldn't say it's a copy. There are mechanics in this game that aren't in Wizard of Legend, and also this game isn't a rogue like and doesn't have the Artifact System that WoL has.

It's a hack'n'slash RPG with a character that can cast spells. If the buzzwords are the same, the games are going to have similar vibes.
