Hey! The game will be paid. No price has been confirmed yet; the plan is to keep it under $50.
I feel like 30-40$ would be a very fair price
40-50 would be stretching it unless it came with some special stuff

Yikes, "Under $50" is not promising. I'm guessing that means forty-something. I suppose there would be fewer cheaters if they have to pay more to buy a new version every time they get caught, but also just fewer players overall, so it could be that it ends up being a higher percentage of cheaters, since they're willing to pay extra for cheats anyway, whereas non-cheaters are less likely to take the risk of buying an expensive game that they may never play because of cheaters.

It all depends how much content will be at 1.0

SQUAD charges 50 for a double A game but it also has ten years worth of content.
So far only three maps are promised for level zero, personally I would only pay 35 for three maps.

Being a squad-based game, I feel like it could make way more money with a low price than a high one. If it's over $40, I'll just take it off my wishlist and forget about it. Not worth it just to see if it's full of cheaters or not. If it's around $35, I'll watch the reviews and wait for a discount. If it's around $25, I'll probably buy it. If it's around $20, I might buy two or three copies to play with friends. At $15, I'd definitely buy 3, and maybe 4. At $10, I'd buy 3-4 to begin with, but also be willing to buy it for other people who express an interest if the people I originally played with stop playing. It's not about how much it's "worth" or how much effort went into it. The higher the price, the lower the sales, and there's a point somewhere on the spectrum which maximizes profits, but I don't think it's at the top or bottom.

49.99 is technically still under 50... I hope they don't make it too expensive.

Oh hell no $50 too expensive. You should be $40 or $35 good price.

I'd play it for a day for $10 but they would have to pay me. Steam charts will be brutal when it launches.

I doubt it will be $50, you guys:) I mention "under $50" as a rough estimation; we're aiming for a lower price tag. Will reveal it soon, keep your eyes peeled.

I really hope you ignore the Steam’s recommended regional pricing, because it wasn’t updated in years, thus making Polish prices second most highest in the WORLD (after Switzerland).

edit: ok, I saw the "regional" price - 78,56PLN converted from US dollars vs 91,99PLN steam price. Great.
