Here's a short version of why we made that decision:
But you rushed too much and most of the extraction elements are just copied from the others. There are no originality on those, damaging the game concepts, and making look cheap game, as we see in poor loading screens and lack of looting elements.
Here is my thought, staying on the concept is the basic of the game dev. If you decided to change the concept, you need you rebuild game experience from its beginning. As you proved by yourself, you made no changes to the asymmetrical horror gameplay that is the issue I think.
After all, the game ended up not an asymmetrical horror nor extraction shooter.
I just got stressful experiences. The main gameplay is fights with the other mercs, then suddenly killed by aliens because we're forced to pay less attention to them. There're no time to fell horror.
For now, I wish the game will get more sophisticated and acquire its originaly.
