PS4 controller not working suddenly

So I've been playing initial drift for a bit and suddenly no matter which controller I plug in all the right triggers don't accelerate, all the other buttons work but that. And when i unplug and plug it back in it fixes the problem but the camera then wont stop spinning. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Same here. Tried my Xbone controller and every button works except the triggers, so I can't drive anywhere. Please let us remap and test the controls.

Okay, so while my controller was stroking out due to a faulty cable, the triggers suddenly started working.

reconnect/plug in controller once ingame and setting all good. i have this issue and controllers dont work unless i reconnect them. idk what the issue is but this fix works 100% of the time for me

i did this the trigger started working again but then i couldnt change gears the L1 and the R1 stopped working, know what to do?

you do the controller thingy it says to do in steam controller settings? i cant for the life of me remember it right now, but ingame when you switch from keyboard to controller some prompt explaining in better detail than this shows you what im talking about, if you already have done that then id have to say reconnect controller but wait a bit longer between re connecting it. sometimes my pc stoopid and i have to wait like 30 sec before i plug it back in. hope this helps a bit
