Figuring the Endings (Spoilers, Watch Out!)

Hey-ya, can we possibly share what decisions we took and which endings we got?
I just don't want to replay last chapter (or even game) again for the same outcome -_-

So far I got two:
1) Accepted the shard, made one mistake (instantly died from it), made another mistake, but the conversation went on, and then reached for Anu.
Octavio died and I got Lilith figure.
Fran and Anu visit the graves of the assassin bot and Octavio

2) Rejected the shard, selected "we're boss" option.
everyone lived, Anu went to Eden-6, Fran in the cafe, Octavio has own TV show.
Got Fiona figure.

3) Accepted the shard, did another mistake, reached for the shard
Octavio became the owner of the cafe, Anu died, Fran went on the vacation with Free Labour guy

4) Opted for a new save, game created RNG choices for Episode 5. Replayed Ep5.
Rejected the shard, choose "we're boss".
everyone is alive, LOU13 is fixed and functioning, received 80% from Rhys (90% in total) and got Ellie's figure.

Alright, looks like you're missing the Fran death ending, how is Fran's relationship with the other two on your save file? I don't know how far back you may need to go in order to change that unfortunately, which means the safest option may be to restart the entire Episode instead of going back a couple chapters and it still won't work, I know it sucks haha, sorry man. But the good news is you may have already gotten the harder endings so it shouldn't be too bad, just gotta pick options that bond Anu and Octavio and ignore Fran. On the playthrough I got that ending I did the Reunite the Shard path for more options to increase Anu and Octavio's relationship.

I did write up a TrueAchievements guide[www.trueachievements.com] with a list of suggested choices in the episode, we're still trying to figure out how the endings work and what choices you really need but I was able to go into more details on my thoughts over there. Hope it helps man

Yeah, I've read online that there are 3 bad endings (got 2 already), 1 neutral and 1 perfect (got them today).

Awesome, congrats man! Sorry it took so many attempts, this achievement sucks haha. Good luck with the taco one, are you doing the option in Episode 1 Chapter 4?

Yeah, I had to restart Ep1Cpt4 for this. No idea why the achievement didn't trigger initially, I definitely chose "tacos" like 3 or 4 times. Even drank taco at VIP party and Shards turned weapons into tacos. Oh well. 100% now ^_^

How did you opt for a new save with new RNG choices? When I make a new save, I start from Episode 1 and it does not allow me to go straight to Episode 5.

If I duplicate a save, it means all the previous choices that I made are brought over as well.

I got the number 2 ending in your post, though in my playthrough I accepted the shard

with so many drastic differences between the endings (compared to tftb1), one couldn't help but wonder how will gearbox determine the canon connection between this game and the next borderlands games.

i don't think gearbox could imitate telltale's choice synchronization between seasons of their walking dead games. from the patterns we've seen since the new era of borderlands 3 to wonderlands and this game, gearbox seems to be putting too much effort into introducing many, many new characters who are mostly only featured for very short time in b3, (while not putting much effort in bringing classic pre b3 characters properly, or writing them off entirely)

expect lots of casts from this game to not show up in the next borderlands game, i guess...

I'd rather see another Wonderlands type Borderlands. Planning to buy it for winter holidays.

I've finished all the endings and this is what I noticed works.

Bad endings conditions (You will get one of three ending where one will be dead):
- Skateboard score is below 50%
- Unite with the shard but reach for the shard (instead of Anu)
- At least one of the relationships is below 50%
(Only one condition is needed)
The highest relationship score will be where the two will survive, and the other one dies.

Neutral ending conditions (All three survived, but go their own paths):
- Skateboard score is above 50% but below 75%
- All relationships must be above 50%
- Reject or unite shard is fine, but if you unite, must reach for Anu
(All three conditions are needed)

Good ending conditions (All three survived and formed their own company):
- Skateboard score is above 75% (to be safe, go for 80%, it's not hard)
- All relationships must be above 50%
- Reject or unite shard is fine, but if you unite, must reach for Anu
(All three conditions are needed)
