New Branding

Sad to see the "Substance Designer" name has been diluted to "Adobe Substance 3D Designer" and the rather striking and instantly recognisable logo has been replaced with the rather mundane Adobe initial style logo.

I'm sure that's the case, this isn't helping my OCD though. I'm looking forward to having a play with the new geometry stuff but it'll just be for fun as my asset workflow is pretty vanilla.

a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ logo great.... WHY THE F do you have to change the " branding" when it was good. now it looks like a generic sh*t software... I mean comeon guys, I knew adobe would make all of this happen it's not the first time *rip dreamweaver* and now they continue, it's fine they destroyed a brand.

Its just branding guys, I wouldn't worry about it to much..... .you guys know Adobe always does this crap... I wouldn't worry about it to much...

we should just be happy we have a STEAM version... the rest just does not matter. Just saying. lets not get to pissy about little things, and give ADOBE a reason to DUMP our version.....

I think put alongside other adobe logos it works with their theme, I just wanted to note the passing of the classics.

Once upon a time you used to get 12 months free updates after purchasing the perpetual license. Now on the store page it says free updates are stopping at the end of 2021, regardless of when you buy it.

Perpetual licensing is totally coming to an end.
