As an note I am using the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT
I absolutely dislike the new navigation system. Bookmarks for search are generally complete nonsense. Instead of making handy custom folders and favorites, they've added a terrible system of saving the search query. The update weighs in at one gigabyte, and no new texturing tools have been made.
Awful direction of development after Adobe purchase.
ADDED: For Designer things exactly the same.
That build before the Name change should be a separate install like 2020 instead of the beta workaround. That way people can stay on the version they like or need for file compatibility. But if they want the new version they could still have an install of along side.
Adobe really should not break compatibly on a point release. IMHO
Forward compatibility is never guaranteed, any file created by a newer version cannot be opened with an older version. This is not new with this release, it has been the case for every release of Painter to date, no matter how small.
EDITED: Well... everything solved by clean install. New version working now.
