Greedy Adobe can sell new version at high prices showing no new features.
Upgrade price has little difference between license holders and newbies.
That I don't know I'm afraid. Let's hope it turns out to be something undeniebly better. Although, I have no complain on current UI.
Is it eazy to read?
Yes.
Is it compact design and modular?
Yes.
Is it eye friendly color?
Yes.
So I'm all good here with the current design. But I believe it's more of a technical neccesity for the software design itself to make more room to be able to place upcoming planned features into the software in future.
I have the same problem. Actually I tried to rearrange the navigation controls in Blender but then it was unusable because it conflicted with other controls.
Adobe should allow remapping.
