Hello I'm looking for a steam key for titanfall

Glad that i bought a steam copy of all the games once EA returned to steam despite owning most of them on origin beforehand. Gives heavenly pleasure to the eyes in seeing classics in steam library which are No longer available :)

Did EA announce before removing this or was it a bad surprise for everybody(expected from EA although) ?

They never announced it. Seems like it was too complicated to ban the dude who destroyed the game.

In fact you can get titanfall 1 on steam, head to https://steamdb.info/sub/734423/ and click add free licence, you might need the steamdb extension and to be signed in on steam on your browser, but that will add the game to your library.

However i believe you need EA Play for it to work.

you can find keys for origin pretty easy , just bare in mind you need a key that includes the season pass or just buy a season pass key separately , otherwise you cant play mp

but the season pass maps are free right? I have both xbox versions and have been able to install them no cost

They are free, however you cant download them on PC using EA app or Steam since the game and its content was removed.

How do i get them if they're free?

You should have bought it directly on Steam back in the day. Nowadays I think it's only available on third party websites as Origin/EA App key
