When did the Elder Batallion beats the Breath of milk?

I play Cookie clicker since 2016 and i thought all time the best idle combi for dragon is Prism + Breath of milk because the elder batallion just give ~ 1 Percent of all Cookies. On which update they switched? The unshackling upgrade??

so far i have up to unshackled temples and jetmint, so elder batallion cuts my cps in half compared to prism

Yeah. I never really got why people said that Elder Battalion was inferior to Breath of Milk. It is for a while (in the early game), but once you get to a good quantity of buildings, Elder Battalion just seems unbeatable for idle play.
So far Elder battalion and Prism are my two best auras.

On the wiki it says it starts getting better when you get 700+ buildings of each buildings. I'm not sure I need that much but the info on the wiki is most likely old and doesn't take into account that new building types have been added with time, which probably increased the power of Elder Battalion.

Breath of Milk beats Elder Battalion at first after ascension. Like @Pyhriel said. But at some point as you attain buildings and building upgrades, the Elder Battalion will overtake it and increase your cps. Because you keep increasing non-grandma buildings, but not increasing kitten quantity. It depends on how much Prestige you have at that point, and also depends on whether or not you have the #103 kitten from the newsad upgrades (#103 extends Breath of Milk advantage for a while).

In my experience early game Elder Battalion overtook the kittens around 12000 buildings. Later game it was closer to 16000 buildings. Again depending on #103 or not.
