5 to 10 years if you have no grasp of numbers or optimization. If you don't dig into the mechanics of some of the minigames or pay any attention to reasonably timing your ascensions, you'll be 1000's of times behind the curve as you need to effectively jump your income by a factor of 1000's to get past each plateau.
You can import saves, but that wasn't even the achievement I was thinking about. It takes about a year to get enough sugar lumps to get all the building achievements, and getting to 27,777 golden cookies in a year would be averaging 76 a day, which is a few hours a day for 365 days.
There's a few others that take nearly that long as well.
There's also the simple fact that if you already have a year or more of progress, you kinda prove my point: it will take at least a year of progress, whether some of that time was done prior to steam is a different question.
The games been out since something like 2013, you could import all 8 years of progress if you started that long ago. Some people have played since the beginning and still don't have everything.
With active play everything not included above plus the one achievement for playing for a year can be reached in a couple of months if not faster depending on some luck.
I'd say that the hardest achievement overall is the 27777 golden cookie one, since it requires you to be the most active over the longest amount of time.
Sugar Lumps can technically be gotten from just not playing the game for a long time and stock market while slow and annoying a hell does not require you to be super active and more just checking the market from time to time while being stuck in one ascension,
That and the stock market shadow achievement where you have to earn 36.5m.
If anyone wants to optimize their game time i would suggest taking a break from the game for a year, coming back to it with lots of sugar lumps which will boost CpS and make the run towards the cookies baked in one ascension achievement easier.
And if someone wants to speedrun it: sacrifice the garden seeds over and over again for the +10 sugar lump boost.
but even then, that would be a PAINFUL year, with a bunch of archeivements that are awful, tedious, take lots of time or are luck-based, like the "get (building) to level 10" archeivements or ascending 1000 times. if you wanna complete this game's archeivements, good luck, because it will NOT be easy.
It would be far, far, more efficient to just grow juicy queenbeets.
Most of the shadow achievements are also Steam achievements, for anyone trying to 100% the game they need all of them aside from the cheater and mod flags
So your answer is no, you weren't aware that you can literally read all steam achievements, always, whether hidden or not...
Top of your personal achievements list is a toggle to switch to global list which displays everything, including hidden. The only difference between normal and hidden is the hidden do not include hints about how to get them
Here's the cookie clicker global list with all of them:
https://steamcommunity.com/stats/1454400/achievements/
At the top you can toggle back to your own personal list.
Since you weren't aware of that, did you also know you can compare your achievements and date stamps with other peoples? In which case it also shows the hidden ones by name for each of you. (but only if the person you are comparing is set to public games view)
I'd link yours compared to mine as an example but you have your games list and achievements hidden, set to private so no one can see your games or your achievements but you.
If you want to show those off, from your profile page, edit profile, privacy settings, game details
(though there is a browser add on that will at least let you see the description for hidden achievements, if it has one, but the descriptions don't always include hints, but you don't need the extension to just see the names and what they are)
