Golden cookie upgrades not working?

The golden four leaf clover looking upgrades don't seem to make the golden cookies last longer. They do appear more often, but they always last around 1 minute and couple seconds. Is this just me or is there something i'm missing?

This confused me for a bit too: The "Golden Cookies [...] stay twice as long" part of the first two golden cookie upgrades (Lucky Day and Serendipity) mean that golden cookies will stay on screen for longer, giving you more opportunity to notice that they're there and click them.
The third golden cookie upgrade (Get Lucky) has slightly different wording that "Golden cookie effects last twice as long." and does what you mention in making what they do after clicking them last for longer.
If you do have all three of those upgrades and are still only getting the base time out of them (E.G. 1 minute 17 seconds out of a Frenzy) then there may be some kind of glitch or bug happening, although past saving and relaunching the game I'm not well versed in how to resolve that.
