What chocolate egg does exactly?

Hi guys, quick question. I am actually saving cookies before ascending to maximize chocolate egg income.
Btw simulating the buyout of the egg i noticed that when i buy it the "reset bonus income" decreases instead of increasing (from 185,02% to 184,xx%).
I can't understand why. Is there something I am missing?
