when to reset?

im close to finish the second ascension point (7 trillion i think) but i hate to start from beginning and i most important thing i don't want to just to buy just 1 or 2 insignifant things from the permanenet upgrades tree... so at what point is better to do the ascension... and you can tell me even the best things to buy from there if you want but the most important thing is at what point i reset

before I will try to suggest something, is following some guide about ascension good for you?

Me personally, I am following an ascension guide that helped me.

If you would like to at least check that ascension guide along with Permanent slot guide, it's all in one place, you just need to read it. I don't think that copying the text and pasting it here is very usefull so I will leave a link here to that guide and you can decide if you want to follow it or not. Read carefully especially the Permanent slot part :)

In my opinion you should ascend roughly every 20 hours of gameplay for the first 10 or so ascensions. And don't worry about having to start all over again, as you will literally get back to where you were in like 30 minutes. I was equally worried as you when I did my first ascensions, but it's actually very fun and easy to ascend, as you get exponentially faster cookies that way. You also keep the heavenly upgrades after each ascensions, so don't worry about remembering what you bought on your previous ascensions, as those upgrades are permanent.

But once you have ascended 10+ times and have 200+ hours of gameplay you can probably consider waiting a bit more time to ascend as you won't benefit as much from ascending once you get into the late game, as there's fewer good heavenly upgrades left, and takes longer to ascend especially after 9 quadrillion prestige level, because something to do with javascript limitations with big numbers.
