why no hardcore achivment?

So maybe some important background is that I started my cookie clicker run in the browser version before buying the steam version and importing my save there, I'm not sure if this would affect things or not.

Anyways I acceded and started a challenge run so that I could get the hardcore achievement which I got after a little while of afking and checking back (and never buying an achievement mind you). I then got to a billion total cookies baked this run and didn't get any achievement. I then thought that maybe I needed to get to 1 billion in my current bank which I've now gotten to. Nothing.

Out of curiosity I checked my in-game achievements (not my steam achievements) and it turns out I have it, but for some reason I don't have the steam achievement still, is this a bug or is there something I'm missing?
