why is my cookies per second going down?

I've played cookie clicker for a while and have noticed that my CPS (not clicks per second) has been going down. why is this happening?

This could just be wrinklers, which lower your cps but once popped provide a bit more than they ate

also, did you have any buff on? or opposite, debuff

maybe the dragon or season related that used up few building

and there is that bonus depending how many people are online, aka lower number = lower cps

or have you used any sugar lumps? more sugar lumps stored = more cps
