save guys. I entered the game and I didn't have my save saved, as I had already dropped this before, I thought I was just going to exit and re-enter. 🤡Could it be a bug in the new update?

Not certain if it's related to a bug. Best to save the game's session by using its export feature:

Options > Export save (copy/paste into a text file).


You may have the save in the Cloud. To check and restore Cloud saves:

In your web browser, go to Steam and log in > Steam support > My account > Data related to my account > scroll to upload content section, and first one is Steam cloud. Click Steam cloud button and wait a couple of seconds for it to load the page. Now you can download your cloud save for the game.

To replace the game save, go to the game's save location and replace the save there. 1454400 is Cookie Clicker:

<Steam-folder> \userdata\ <user-id> \1454400\remote\save.txt
