Cookie Clicker Preventing me from family sharing

Hey, a couple of my brothers use some games from my account via family share but they've recently informed me that they can't play because I keep this open in the background. Is there any way around this? I know I could do the Twin Gates of Ascension but I'm still early game and that would be a big sink with heavenly chips.

No, this is not possible.

This is a limitation of Steam Family Sharing, as per its ToS:

No, a shared library may only be played by one user at a time including the owner and even if they want to play different games.

Put your Steam into Offline mode. Top left -> Steam icon -> Go offline.

Steam offline should do the trick. alternatively, there's a mod in the workshop called True offline production. I haven't tested it so I'm not sure if its any good but it should allow you to close the game and get your real CPS worth of cookies when you get back, rather than the nerfed heavenly gate CPS.
