Best upgrades for the permanent upgrade slots?
Most of the guides I can find on this are all outdated by quite a bit from the look of it. I know the highest-tier milk upgrades is the obvious one, but are there any other good ones? Almost every one that I put in I just end up being able to buy easily after an hour or so anyway.

That's why I just put the most expensive.
this usually allows me to save like 30% of all-time cookie production and thus at least a few days of passive play.

honestly in addition to the tallest cat I prefer to insert the last upgrade unlocked of the latest structures. Of course it depends on what you want to get later. Once you get further there will be more difficulties, so it will be difficult to buy more upgrades with each run in an easy way.
