Removing achievements with SAM

Has anyone out there tried removing the steam achievements with steam achievement manager? Did they unlock again during normal gameplay assuming you started over from scratch?

i know the software, but i never used it, generally once removed and like never unlocked them (but I advise against using that software)

You can unlock achievements again by resetting the game and playing like it was a first run.
But I also advise you at not using it, since it messes with your achievements statistics.

It depends on the Game more than SAM itself. Some Games store Achievement Data in your Savegame, so you will insta unlock all earned Achievements when loading that Save, some have it generally saved in the Game and unlocked will re-unlock on Gamelaunch, some save Achievement Data in Steam Stats, and some you can just re-lock and youre good to go. If you want to be as safe as possible, remove all Gamedata from your PC, Re-Lock the Achievements and start on a new Save.

/Edit: I forgot we are in the Cookie Clicker Discussion Hub.
Theres a Wipe Save Setting in the Options, use that to restart. Theres no Way to only re-lock Achievements as Cookie Clicker stores that Data in your Savegame so when you re-launch your Current Save, you will get all your Achievements again.

The primary use of SAM is to fix bugged achievements, and for that it works well enough.
