Sugar frenzy question

So I activated the sugar frenzy, which is nice and all, but then I decided to use some spells and using three of them all backfired. Is there a 100% backfire during sugar frenzy?

The % chance to fail is listed (maybe that's just a mod I'm using?) & I have successfully cast spells with sugar frenzy active, so it is at least not the case that *all* spells will fail during sugar frenzy if there is indeed any effect whatsoever.

Conjure baked cookies and resurrect abomination both failed every time, 3 each. I would understand the conjure spell not working but not the other one.

bad luck that's all, although why activate sugar frenzy before getting golden cookies. i feel like a better rotation is

1. Golden Cookie, get a decent buff. Even better if you get double golden cookie.
2. FtHoF
3. Sell Wizard Towers until you get another FtHoF
4. Golden Switch, Sugar Frenzy
5. Huge Profit, especially if you have Gozmordak and get a click buff/dragon buff.

I didn't mention the golden cookies, I already had those upgrades and the golden switch on, with the veil active.

Did you actually have golden cookies actives, or just the buffs? also don't activate veil during it unless it's literally only CPS buffs. Usually you get a click buff and it's better to just mash click

nonono, I had the golden switch on so no golden cookies were going to appear. but during the sugar frenzy it was failing every spell I activated, no ones luck is bad enough to have 6 backfires in a row.

A-ha! Maybe that's your issue. Golden Switch + FotHoF might have some strange interactions with eachother. Since FotHoF summons a Golden Cookie, but with Golden Switch, Golden Cookies can't appear.

I never used that spell, the one that summons a golden cookie, I figured it wouldn't, I'm talking about the spell that gives you half an hours worth of cps and backfires with a clot. Clicking the summon golden cookie spell won't activate and will give you back the mana spent because the game knows it can't be done. It's just a very weird and unexplainable situation and I'm just not going to bother with it anymore.
