Eldeer Achievement

How do I get that Achievement??I activated Christmas time, and I started the Grandmapocalypse. When I click on the reindeer, then nothing happens. I also can not really find a helpful guide for that one xD

"Pop a reindeer during an elder frenzy."

Popping a reindeer anytime is not enough, you need to pop it during an elder frenzy.

For this you need your dragon fully trained and activate "Dragonflight", elder frenzy has a random chance to start when you pop a regular golden cookie.

My recomendation is to never stop christmas and pay much attention, besides that, it's mostly luck, maybe with some mods you can be more sure when thing like Elder Frenzy will happen.

I was amazingly lucky with this achievement. I was clicking on the big cookie during an elder frenzy and a reindeer spawned virtually right under my mouse.

No it doesn't, Dragonflight is a Golden/Wrath cookie effect that boosts CPS by x1111. By having it active, you reduce the chance of an Elder Frenzy by 5%. Do NOT get Dragonflight for this.

Arcane Aura and Epoch Manipulator, however, DO help. Arcane Aura makes golden (and wrath) cookies appear more often, Epoch Manipulator makes them stick around for longer.

Sorry to necro this, but honestly i read this whole thread because i want to trigger an elder frenzy, and even after reading all this, i still don't know how do i trigger an elder frenzy. what is an elder frenzy?

Elder Frenzy is like a regular Frenzy but way stronger.

There is no way to activate it manually, just like Frenzy, you either get it by luck or by clicking Golden Cookies.

To have a better chance with Elder Frenzy you can go to Krumblor, the Cookie Dragon and select the "Dragonflight" aura, which enables Golden Cookies to trigger Elder Frenzy.

Elder frenzy only comes from wrath cookies either during a grandmapocalypse or a backfired force the hand. It has nothing to do with dragonflight aura.

reading this if no one knows how to enable a dragonflight you need to upgrade your dragon to have at least one slot. you are looking for the mod that looks like a rocket. unsure that that has anything to do with elder frenzy as that has the chance to happen during Grandmapocalypse and only during. It being Christmas you won't have to change seasons unless you have already started a new one like Easter. In which case just end said event and the current one if there is one will continue. pretty sure Dragonflight has nothing to do with the achievement. But Elder Frenzy only has the chance of happening after clicking a wrath cookie which spawn during Grandmapocalypse. You could get a Wrath Cookie on a backfire from Force Hand of Fate but your chances of a Frenzy are lower then just clicking on a random Wrath Cookie during the Grandmapocalypse. I know I repeated a bunch of what was said already in this thread. But thought I would give more detail to some. And thought I would add the part about the dragon as someone was asking about it.

After getting all golden cookie and reindeer upgrades (including achievement ones) they would appear so often you would get it multiple times without even trying, i already popped like 5 or 6 reindeers during Elder Frenzy despite having reduced positive outcome chance for wrath cookies.

But if you want to tryhard this achievementm, then try to click wrath cookie as late as possible, try to click them only when reindeer is present on screen. That's how i got it the first time when achievement seemed to be super rare.

My last ascension was 18 days ago, and I've had the single goal this ascension of Eldeer. I have been clicking dozens and dozens of wrath cookies and haven't gotten one single elder frenzy. This is total luck. And apparently all mine is bad. Of course, it's Christmas so they have the season permanently set for now, but all those reindeer are worthless since I can't get a single elder frenzy.

Do you have Skruuia? It's reduces the chance of positive outcome of Wrath Cookies.
Do you have Dragon Flight and Dragon Harvest? They also reduce the chance of elder frenzy.
Do you have all Santa and Reindeer upgrades, including heavenly ones? They make reindeer to appear more often and to be slower.
