Do you have Wrinklers? From what I've heard, waiting for them to accumulate LOTS of cookies, slotting Skruuia and popping all Wrinklers can get you a nice amount of cookies, but I don't use them at all so I can't really comment on that.
You can also do "Harvest Combos" or fill the garden with Drownsyferns/Whiskerblooms, but that may require management to a certain point, unless you use mods to automatize it.
And finally, there's unlocking offline progression in the heavenly tree, but it's INCREDIBLY inefficient to be honest.
Cats depend on achievements, which is not the optimal way to play if you intend to idle IMO since progress will come trickling down instead of in bursts when you get a combo. Maybe very late game when you have 400+ achievements.
You will see jumps in progress when you get Shimmering Veil, Wrinkler Upgrades(Elder spice, Sacrilegious Corruption and Unholy Bait), Krumblor(Radiant Appetite+Breath of Milk), Sugar Baking(accumulating up to 100 sugar lumps) and bank loans(mostly the "Retirement Loan").
Let's assume 15 clicks/second (actually more than I can do without tricks)
7 x 777 x 13 x 15 x 0,2 = 58,92hrs of cps.
Sure, much much more effective than idling, but a far cry from 1000 hours in a single basic combo.
Oh, and yes: For me, too, cats were the biggest upgrades throughout. Yes they scale with achievements, but you get enough thrown at you on the first day that they start being worth it immediately.

From your various answers I'm thinking it may be "game over" and I need to switch to another idler.
It depends, really. Are you having fun? What do you expect to achiev? Can your issues be solved by modding the game?
If you are really intent on idling, i'd suggest looking for idle mods in the Steam Guide Section, as it will greatly affect your playstyle for the better. As I said before, Cookie Clicker wasn't made originally to be an idle game IMHO, but it can be a fun one if you tweak it a little.
Otherwise, by what I see in your screenshot, you already have tools to get to billions/trillions heavenly chips if you'd be willing to do 30min~1h of active play(most waiting and looking every once in a while for natural golden cookies) to set up a combo.
The fun is in the ever-increasing progress.
If it doesn't increase fast enough, I lose interest. I don't want to mod, it's not "the same".
I think I got my answers. I'll move on.
If I don't come back here, thanks and さよなら.
Other than that, click the golden cookies. I'll play other games and just leave Cookie Clicker in the background with the Golden Chime upgrade, so I can take 2 seconds to switch tabs and click cookie. If it's click frenzy or Dragonflight then maybe I'll sacrifice whatever other game I'm playing to click for 30 seconds. Cookie Clicker isn't entirely an "idle" game, it's a semi-idle game unless you have an auto-clicker that also buys your upgrades and buildings. Even then, expect it to be idle for years to make any real progress...
