Yet OP claims they have 100% achievements in just 800h or playing, that's roughly 33 days.
Thus OP is either not telling us something or just cheating achievements. Which can explain stuff since the game punishes you for cheating.
I don't think it does. Sugar lump timer may glitch if you tinker with your computer dates, but that's not really cheat prevention imo.
As obvious, I did have my own gameplay for 800hs. Tho, I did not wish to continue further, as I got rather frustrated. So obviously, as there is an achievement for cheating, I did cheat the rest 52 achievements I was missing.
Yes I started Among us again, after the update, because I thought that the newly added achievements could be the reason why I am at 97% only to see that % dropped to 93 right after I got the first achievement.
So no, I will max out among us soon, and I'll be left at 97% again.
Take a look and notice how sketchy the game looks + achievement bar + icons in my profile tho. Grhh
While I mentioned Among Us, 3 or 4 achievements should not represent 3~4% of achievement ratio. Some other game might have added new achievements.
I'd say that's on Steam profile UI. If the game has lots of achievements and no badge, it tends to get borked.
-You decided to cheat, that's your choice, no need to try and justify it. It's a matter of perspective, for you - you love your shiny 100% completion, for me - all of it is fake and means nothing. Will you stop cheating because other random guy dislikes it? Doubt it.
-Devs could explain stuff if their game is bugged in any way and it was their fault, but again - your cheated progress is totally up to you, I doubt Orteil even cares. Coming to forums and asking devs to fix your cheated progress is still kinda...questionable decision.
-As stated above - completion rate is tied to the general percentage of achievements earned in each game on your Steam account. Either complete them all to get your 100% or just cheat the rest, whatever suits you.
Nothing else to discuss here.
