Best Use of "permanent upgrade slot" ?

I've seen a few suggestions, but I've seen just as much saying that previous best ones were patched out.

So what is it these days?

It's usually a combination your most expensive kitten, idleverse upgrades, and any upgrade that randomly drops.

Usually the best is your most expensive kitten, most expensive idleverse upgrade, and then most expensive multiple-of-100 cookies you have unlocked. Although I also like to keep the fortune kitten upgrade just because I don't feel like waiting for it to reappear.

If I'm buying a flat % bonus cookie, how about the 8% birthday cookie? I think that's the highest single flat % bonus.

Fortune kitten? Can't you just force that by clicking the headlines a few thousand times?

If the current logic is really to sit on onemind but not progress the grandma's to stage 2 by getting brainsweep, is perhaps "arcane sugar" something worth tossing in a slot, as it represents 5% that you'd not get otherwise?

I'm just too lazy to cycle the ticker. Although personally I feel like going all the way on Grandmas is fine regardless, since pledges are extremely cheap.

It actually doesn't apper if you cycle the ticker, which means you have to wait for it to drop naturaly.

Kitten, Idleverse, then honestly I do Omelette so I get Eggs faster, then Festive Hat so I can immediately start buying Christmas upgrades regardless of season. My first season I buy is always Valentines, you get more value that way.

Final one should probably be the highest x50 of everything cookie.

That's a good one when you're earlier game. Once you get to mid/late game and you have the season switcher it's pretty trivial to go to Christmas and max all upgrades pretty fast, though.

Most expensive kitten.
Fortune idleverse.
Highest Idleverse.
Two of the 10% cookies (highest count required).

and yes, it'll be 3 more years before birthday is higher than the 10% cookies from the milestone amounts.. been wrong before, will be wrong again.

you can buy fest hat. and get all off that upgrades incl final santa, +no need to switch (only for cookies)
