I started with 20 or 30 magic points and now have almost 60. However, my magic powers cost increased. Force of Hand used to be in the 20's but is now in the 40's so what is the point of getting more magic points if power cost increases with no additional benefits?

I have upgraded them to level 7 with sugar lumps and have 104 towers. When will I have enough to use the Spontaneous Edifice?

remember that your magic refills overtime, this is based on how much mana you have left. you increased your FHOF spell from 20 -> 40 and you increased your magic from 30->60 when you use FHOF your magic goes from 60->20 instead of 30->10 this gives you 10 extra mana that refills it faster allowing you to cast it more often

What you should really be complaining about is how spell failure isn't random at all.
