Bakeberry
Bakeberry is one of the best plants in the game when it comes to getting lots of cookies really quickly. Filling up an entire field with bakeberries will give you a base CpS increase of 36% once they all mature. Harvesting all 36 bakeberries will yield a whopping 18 hours of CpS! The cookies you get from the bakeberries are also affected by buffs & debuffs. Harvesting during a frenzy can give up to 3 hours and 30 minutes' worth of production for each bakeberry you harvest, so harvesting all 36 plants can yield over 5 days worth of production! The "Harvest All" button is implemented favorably for the user: the CPS is calculated once when the button is clicked while it's still boosted by all the bakeberries, but the cap is recalculated as each berry is harvested, allowing you to almost triple your bank (2.9x) in a single click! However, planting the bakeberries in the first place costs quite a lot of cookies, so you should aim to plant them while minimizing your CpS (see this section for more details) in order to lower those upfront costs and further maximise your gain. Additionally, it's important to note that bakeberry harvesting rewards are capped at just 3% of your current cookies, so they should ideally only be harvested when you have loads of cookies saved up to get a bigger reward. (In order to get the full reward from all your bakeberries, you'd need to have at least 16 hours 40 minutes worth of CpS sitting there in your bank.) While duketaters could potentially be considered "better" than bakeberries (due to sporting a much greater cookie yield), duketaters are a lot more expensive, grow super slowly and inconsistently, and do not provide a CpS bonus.

It took you 10 months to ask this? The answer should be obvious.

It's obviously a feature and this is how it works:

It's designed to do this, so I told you how it works.

What part of this are you failing to understand?

i know bakeberries increasing cps by 1% is a feature and i know how it works. perhaps my original question wasn't worded the way it should have been, so let me rephrase it. in the stats menu, "raw cookies per second" (rcps) and "cookies per second" (cps) are two seperate stats. bakeberries are stated to increase cps by 1%, but they also increase rcps. is this intended or a bug?

I was originally going to roast you fro acting like an ass when Kunovega clearly gave you the most detailed answer and source possible, but then I realized what your mean. This ♥♥♥♥ has had me perplexed for the past 15 minutes and I can't find an answer online. If you figure it out, please update the thread.

What are you confused by? This is what the bakeberry does, it's what it's always done.

It's been this way for 4 years since the garden was added in 2018.

From what I have observed, current CpS differs from raw CpS only when golden or wrath cookie buffs and debuffs are active. Plants and Dragon auras are both counted in raw CpS.

It's interesting that the game considers temporary or toggleable buffs to be "raw", like that label definitely seems misleading, but I do see how that can be useful if you're trying to optimize a pantheon/garden/dragon build while a buff is running and don't want to wait for it to run out. Like if you're fiddling with something and a golden cookie pops up it's good that you don't have to delay the cookie so you can finish checking your numbers. Still, the name could stand to be changed, with a third number added that's your actual CPS from buildings, permanent upgrades, milk, and heavenly chips only, maybe even with a breakdown of how much of your raw cps comes from which source for the sake of checking which minigame settings would be best.

God I should really learn how to mod this game and make this change myself. It'd be useful, I'm sure.

you seem confused, so let me help you: the question was "is it supposed to work like this?" not "does it work like this?"
unfortunately, this is not the first time you completely missed the mark of what i was asking and went on some totally irrelevant rant that contributed totally ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nothing to the discussion
