What kind of milk and how to get it?

I noticed an upgrade of the Worker Kittens. And the description says "The more milk you have, the more cookies per second.
And the question is, where to get milk? And see how much I have

You get milk by getting achievements. Every achievement increases your "milk percentage" by 4% and every 25 achievements changes the color of the milk (though this is purely cosmetic). If you go into stats and scroll down to achievements, you can see the number of achievements you have and what your current "kitten multiplier" is. Shadow Achievements do not give milk. You also get better kitten upgrades as you unlock more achievements. The last kitten upgrade unlocks at 300 achievements.
