Golden Cookies vs Grandmas

Is it better to start the Grandma event or chain gold cookies. I just started the event recently but was wondering if it is optimal at the place I am in the game. I have 800 B cps with full wrinklers.

Honestly I prefer non-granny mode. The golden cookies are way better if you are an active player. If you want to idle the wrinklers are the way to go though.

Since I am an active player I just ended the "event" and never turned it on again. Waiting to activate it makes it easier to get to the end if you don't like it.

Assuming you already have the achievements you can only get at a full grandmapocalypse, for best effect you want to keep access to the Frenzy effect, which only comes from gold cookies. Achievements translate to more milk, i.e. more permanent bonus CpS, so those should take priority. On any following ascend you want to stay at either stage 1 or stage 2 grandmapocalypse, depending on how comfortable you are with gambling on the Ruin effect.

Frenzy + Elder Frenzy or Cursed Finger is some silly cookies per second/click. And having access to Frenzy from naturally spawning cookies allows you to double or triple-whammy the effect naturally and with the help of Force the Hand of Fate.
