Is it a sin to use an auto clicker in Cookie Clicker?

Game is single player. As long as it doesn't hurt the other player or something, it's not a sin.

I refuse to, since I personally feel like every cookie I earn without myself putting in any effort is cheating, but play how you want.

You bought the game. You using an auto-clicker doesn’t affect anyone but you. Play how you want.

Saying that you achieved such a feat or achievement of something great through effort, but used alternative tools for the same, then yes, it becomes a sin. >:C

Depends how you define the scale of sin.. Worst case scenario, you end up in the eight circle of hell (Fraudulence, for those who have yet to read Dante's Divine Comedy).. Good luck

i think this game was designed with autoclickers in mind, mine works perfectly but the game doesn't like it when i set it to click ever 1ms. the fps drops pretty badly but it doesn't ruin the experience for me.

The Auto-Clicker I found works fine a 1ms and no lag in game :)

I just made a macro using Roccats own interface that clicks every 2ms. can only use it a few times per session though as it starts to lag up everything and consumes my entire processor with extented use, so its kind of a double edged sword. Ofcourse this requires you got a Roccat keybord or mouse.
edit:
if there was a click-off mode where you had to click faster than another player, then yes, it would absolutely be a sin, but since there isnt, I say its fair game.

Not working for me. Only Autoclicker I actually managed to make work was Auto Mouse Clicker, but it was buggy and crashed all the time

I use fastclicker for all my games. Minimal easy, just google fastclicker and it will be the first link.

there is an upper limit to how many times you can click in cookie clicker per second, so stop putting your autoclickers at 1ms or whatever
