MacOS support?

Cookie clicker isn't exactly a demanding or technologically advanced game, I don't see why it can't be ported to MacOS...

Can we hope for a MacOS compatible version soon?

Orteil's stated a Mac support may be coming, but no promises that it will actually be a thing and no estimated release date yet

Developing for apple platforms is usually a huge PITA. Technologically it may not be challenging, but you probably need an apple developer account, an actual mac for compiling your program, stuff like that.
So for a solo-dev it can be unreasonably challenging.

I am on an iMac and just reboot into Windows and play via Bootcamp.

Cookie Clicker "standalone" use the Electron framework, so a macos release should be easy

This is the kind of game mindless Mac drones would love. Seems like a NO BRAINER to do it.

not that easy with M1 CPU's, for now only Parallels work.

I’m kind of glad there isn’t a Mac version because I’d be too tempted to buy it and I don’t need a crack-like addiction in my life right now!
