Achievements not unlocking anymore?

I imported my savegame, and got a lot of achievements. However, cheevos unlocked inside game aren't unlocking on Steam. Anybody got this issue too?

EDIT: Found a solution! Turns out the issue comes from owning the cheevo "cheated cookies taste awful." You need to remove it before importing your save in order to get you cheevos. I'll post instructions on how to do so in the browser version below:

1. In your browser activate the Open Sesame cheat (add "saysopensesame" in bakery name)
2. Go to "Stats". Activate the "Neuromancy" cheat upgrade (shares icon with Elder Mind)
3. Scroll down to your achievements and click on the "Cheated cookies taste awful" achievement to remove it
(remove the third party/modding one too if you have that as well)
4. Deactivate "neuromancy" and the open sesame cheat quickly so you don't get it again
5. Export your browser save and import it to PC
6. Restart your game.

Should be good to go!

Not it worked. I believe it had sth with Steam's "outage". that happened some minutes ago

I don't have that chieve, but I followed your steps to toggle it on then off and I still am not getting achievements in steam. Any suggestions?

Honestly I'm not too sure what the issue could be if you've gone through all the steps I listed. Have you double checked that you don't have the 3rd party achievement? Additionally some mods from the steam workshop disable achievements so try disabling all mods before porting your save.

Admittedly I haven't looked over this problem since I first fixed my own game file almost two years ago but if all else fails I might have a mildly annoying solution:

First, I would try to see if my old solution still works by creating a new save file, cheating in some achievements that you don't currently have on steam, going through the process of removing the cheated cookies achievement, and finally importing that new save file to steam.

If my old solution still works you should get the achievements that you cheated in ported over. If this is the case with the new save file but you're finding it isn't working with your real save file, it might mean there's something weird going on with your real save file preventing it for porting. Again, I would quadruple check here that you have both the cheated "cookies taste awful" and "third-party" achievements wiped from your save file and all mods disabled in steam.

Now, if this is the case and you need a last resort. I would simply start a new cheated save file, progress to where your real save file is in terms of cookies / achievements by just basically copying all your stats and then wipe the cheated cookies achievements from your new save file. Porting this new save file should work if the first test worked but will be tedious.

Let me know if any of those solutions did the trick!

how do i deactivate the open sesame thing? i have opened it and done the other steps but idk how to close it

Change you name back so it doesn't include "saysopensasame." Then save a refresh your browser. Should do the trick!

I've tried multiple things. nothing has been working so far, Im not sure if you'll reply but if you do, what other options do i have?

or you can import a save file and load it and u will have all 100% achivement on steam :)
