Relatar um problema com a tradução
because we are gentlemen, we have to support the developers, they gave us endless hours of free fun, it is our duty to show our gratitude and buy this game
And listen to my words gentlemen, this will be a game that due to its gameplay style, in 1 week it will be in the top 10 of the most played games
but you're NOT fine with giving them $5 and receiving something?
"I'm willing to give you money for doing nothing, but if you do something and charge for it, you're an idiot"
Do you realize how ass backwards this logic is? I mean,... do you really?
Edit : My favorite part is that the game's been free for 8+ years,..... and now that he wants to make it more accessible he's being blasted for trying to make it better for those who are new.
Has nothing to do with being cheap.
I was wondering myself if there's a difference.
Well steam is taking up to half of that in fees and also taxes. There are way better ways if you want to donate.
Buying a game on steam is *not* donating money.
This does not mean that only 41K copies of this game were sold though.
Like I don't understand what your problem is really.... YOu'd donate to the developer..... but you wouldn't give them a purchase on steam when the game is mod able, no additional charges( micro-transactions ) & now gives proper steam integration including achievements & such.
It's 30%, not 50, ya brainless ♥♥♥♥.
- It's native windows client (no browser needed)
- Steam features
- Valve backed world wide (except where blocked) distubution network that is paid from the sales directly (once per purchase)
- Steam backed cloud saves
Ya, It may seem .. like 'nothing' but those 4 things are worth that 5$ for me
Oh yes, Mod support as well.. (as to what people will do with it, who knows)
Like you've got bigger problems if you aren't willing to support the developer & the platform that enables you to Re-download ANY GAME you own, and will never remove a game from your library (unless legally forced to do so), and will keep backups and installs for multiple versions of windows & NOW Linux as well for a silly % of the game library they provide.
Like Really.. Oh, and don't forget it gives a verified ownership and a community forum with secure accounts as well. FOR EVERY GAME YOU OWN (with few exceptions of some community hubs being shut down for legal reasons/publishers-developers having them pulled)
And of course, supporting the person who actually made the game, and put time and effort into it, don't be a cheapskate.
