It's one of the first idle games, and the jokes are funny.

edit: I mean the writing quality of jokes in-game, not just that the game is funny. News headlines, tooltips, achievement names, etc. The joke about making absurd numbers of cookies for no reason is played many different ways, and with different themes for each production building. Also playing the game actively, by trying to setup combos, is fun.

because some ppl like idle games. like other shooter or moba or sport games or......

Also this is probably one of the best clicker/idle game in the genre, and the fact it has 0 microtransactions only make it better.
Also don't forget that a lot of other popular games,especially web browser games of the past are no different than this one at the end, taking for example Travian or Shakes and Fidget.

The developer was the grandson of the guy who headed project MKULTRA. He refined what his grandfather could not and successfully created a method of mind control which he uses on players. Regardless of our thoughts or feelings on the matter, we can do nothing but click and think of cookies all day every day.
