Should it take days to reach 1 ascension??

I just started, but I feel like I'm doing something wrong. It's took like 3 days to reach the first ascension. This wasn't running the game constantly or clicking constantly either. I probably shouldn't have ascended with just 1 level either. This just seems really slow?

3 days already and only reach +15 lvl in first prestige, but guide says i should wait till 440. It even possible?

How long it takes really depends on how active you are and luck.

Personally I ended up doing the prestige for just 1 which probably was a mistake, but it does unlock a few things.

After that I made sure to get over 250 for the next. Then after that, in under a day I could already prestige for over 500 more. So it does get quicker much faster as you progress.

Also to note, this game does not have offline progress for your cookies until you unlock the prestige upgrades, so keeping it open helps a lot.

I did 1 in about a week, then waited until 200ish next round with pretty much the same speed since 1 unlocks nearly nothing. Now its going much faster.

first one is the worse took me 5 days or so

but now im ascending like every 10 hours or so with how fast it gets

play the game active. i did the same mistake and now im farming. i was at +2 at 50h and now im at like +70

I'm 5 days, 5 hours into this run and I have built up 25 legacy levels but I have also barely turned my PC off this week so it's kind of a trade off of if you want to kill your computer or take your time

There is a way to go up quickly and it is to use Godzamok in the pantheon and use the magic tower and at the moment the cookie comes out that gives x7 cookies per second wait until after that one comes out another one, and there if you are lucky you get another one that increases production of a building there would be to use the magic spell for another magic cookie and with godzamok (have it in the 1st slot) sell the least necessary buildings sell them quickly and click like crazy: V.

the first ascension will take some time unless you are super lucky with your golden cookies, but after your first ascension, it will start to snowball until you are gaining billions of prestige in minutes

Playing the game for 10 days i'm at level 77 still didn't ascend, there are probably optimal ways to do stuff but it's a game that last years anyway so don't bother trying to follow the optimal best route for everything, just learn maybe with a wiki certain strategy about some things that you unlock (like a thing that takes 1 min) and go on and follow your path to cookie madness.

10 days, 8 hours... 10 Ascensions. 10.5 hours into current run.

I have over 21.662 trillion prestige levels.

All of the prestige levels are heavily reliant on combo'ing golden cookie effects so that you get heavily stacking multipliers, and then either clicking frenzy or a dragonflight.
Manually clicking during all that overlap is okay. But I recommend an auto-clicker with a hotkey to toggle, or you'll either break the mouse or really give yourself some hand pains.

For autoclickers, how fast you set it depends on how honest you wanna be. Wanna be honest? Stick to however fast you can manage at peak, maybe a bit under. Don't care? Make it as fast as you can.

I am currently at almost exactly 11 days and am still on my first ascension mate, it the first one is a slog. But if you really want to speed things up more do what the guy above said: Use Godzamak spirit in the diamond slot in temple minigame, and wait for a frenzy. Then while the frenzy is active, use Hand of Fate spell to get a golden cookie. If it is a click frenzy(777X click power) sell all buildings that dont produce much cps and click as fast as possible. Hope this helps!

Once you reach 100 billion, 100 trillion, 1 quadrilion, etc cps it will usually go really fast until you reach the next multiple of ten. Don't think so much about how long it takes from ascension 1 to 2, but rather focus on building up to breach each ascension bracket.
