Game gives bad advice about disabling DX12

When I try to run this it complains DirectX 12 isn't supported on my system and suggests I remove things from the command line. The problem is there's nothing in the command line on Steam or in the shortcut to remove.

Please advise.

Nevermind, figured it out on my own. Posting the answer here for anyone else on Windows 7. Go into the Launch Options for the game and put in the line at the bottom of this post. If your executable is named something else, you can do a "Browse Local Game Files" from the game properties in Steam to get its name and path. Once you've updated the Launch Options, save your changes and just start the game from Steam.
